Benefit Amounts for People with Disabilities Updated
The new amounts became effective on July 15, 2024.
By means of Joint Resolution 5/2024 of June 10, 2024, the Ministry of Health and the National Agency on Disability established an increase of 3% in the amount of the current benefits of the Comprehensive Care Benefit System for Persons with Disabilities, as of June 1, 2024.
The nomenclature of basic benefits for people with disabilities establishes issues of vital importance for those who hold a Single Certificate of Disability in Argentina, according to Law 22431. The benefits range from early stimulation and support teachers to hospitalization for rehabilitation, also including food, housing, foster homes, schooling, educational centers, and job training.
Finally, benefits in the provinces of the Patagonia area will receive an additional 20% to the basic amount for being in unfavorable areas.
