Minimun Wage

By Resolution No. 3/2011 -duly published in the Official Gazette on September 19, 2011, the National Council of Employment, Productivity and Minimum Wage stated the effective date of the amounts of the minimum wage regulated by Resolution No. 2/2011, from August 2011.

The Resolution introduces a second paragraph to the 1st article of Resolution No. 2/2011 describing that increases on “minimum wage of ARS 2,300 for monthly paid workers and of ARS 11.50 for workers paid by the hour, excluding family allowances under the scope of the Labor Contract Law, the National Public Administration and all the entities and organizations in which the Argentine State acts as an employer” shall be applied to salaries earned from August 2011.
