Minimum Wage

By Resolution No. 2/2011, duly published in the Official Gazette on August 30, 2011, the National Council of Employment, Productivity and Minimum Wage has increased the minimum wage.

For the workers under the scope of the Labour Contract Law, the National Public Administration and all the entities and organizations in which the Argentine State acts as an employer, the Resolution establishes from September 1, 2011, a minimum wage of ARS 2,300 for monthly paid workers and of ARS 11,50 for hourly paid workers, excluding family allowances.

Additionally the Resolution settles that for part-time and workers who render services within a reduced schedule workday, the minimum salary wage shall be proportionally paid.
