Antidumping Proceedings – (Poly) ethylene terephthalate

The goods involved are “Poly (ethylene terephthalate), in granules, with an intrinsic viscosity equal or higher to 0.7 dl/g, but less or equal to 0.86 dl/g”, classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (NCM) 3907.61.00.

The opening of the sunset review was requested by the company Alpek Polyester Argentina S.A. (formerly, DAK Américas Argentina S.A.).

So far, the authorities have determined a dumping margin of 11.67% from China, 14.79 % from Korea (considering third markets), and of 3.33% from India.

The resolution keeps current antidumping measures in force until the sunset review is completed.
