Amendment of BCRA's Charter

The Argentine Central Bank's Charter was amended by means of Decrees No. 1311/01, 1523/01 and 1526/01 for the purpose of strengthening the institution's independence, avoiding the duplication of functions and concentrating powers which were previously separated, in an attempt to make the administration more efficient and to unify the regulation of financial and exchange institutions.
