Victoria Francia joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2024 and currently she is an associate in the Criminal Law Department.
Her professional practice focuses on advising local and foreign clients in a wide variety of criminal matters and litigation such as fraud allegations and breach of fiduciary duties, tax evasion and customs violations, trademark infringements, and environmental crimes, among others.
Victoria graduated as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires Law School in 2023, with an orientation in Criminal Law. She is currently completing a specialization course in Economic Criminal Law at the Austral University.
Before joining Marval O’Farrell Mairal, she worked at another leading law firm in the City of Buenos Aires, which specializes in Corporate Law.
Victoria has also completed the following courses from the University of Buenos Aires Law School: “Complex Homicides. Criminal Scenarios. Relevant considerations for the judicial and expert investigation, aiming at their clarification;” “Preventive measures in the framework of Economic Criminal Proceedings;” “X Criminal Enforcement Law Congress;” “The evidence offered in the criminal process;” and “Criminal liability of the employer for acts committed by his employees.”
Victoria is a student advisor in Constitutional Guarantees of Substantive Criminal Law at the University of Buenos Aires.
She is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association, where she is also a member of the Pro Bono Criminal Law Subcommittee.
