Milagros Ibarzábal is a partner at Marval in the Public & Administrative Law department.

Since joining the firm in 2019, she has been involved in a wide range of complex matters, advising both domestic and international clients. Her practice focuses on disputes against the State —before administrative and judicial courts— at the national and provincial levels, as well as on public sector contracts and transactions.

She has extensive regulatory experience, advising companies in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, tobacco, technology, automotive, consumer goods, and e-commerce, among others. She also advises on compliance, public ethics, anti-corruption, integrity policies, and internal investigations.

Before joining Marval, Milagros worked for six years at Cassagne Abogados. She from Universidad Austral Law School in 2012 at the top of her class, receiving the Borda Award for best performance in Private Law courses and the award for best research paper.

Milagros holds an LL.M. from New York University, where she was awarded the Dean’s Graduate Award, and a Master’s in Administrative Law from Universidad Austral, where she received an academic merit scholarship and an honorable mention for her thesis. In 2012, she was awarded a scholarship by Fundación Botín to participate in the Public Sector Leadership Program in Latin America at Brown University. In 2024 she completed the program “Compliance for Organizations” at Universidad Católica del Uruguay.

She has lectured graduate and postgraduate courses in Public Law at Universidad Austral, Universidad Católica Argentina, Universidad de Buenos Aires, and the Attorney General’s Office School of Law. She is currently a postgraduate professor of Administrative Procedural Law at Universidad Católica Argentina.

Legal 500 recognized her in Public Law as a Rising Star in 2022 and 2023, and as a Leading Associate in 2024. She is the author of several specialized publications and a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association (Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal).
