Matías joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2011. He is part of the Litigation Department and specializes in insurance and reinsurance law.

He provides legal advice on matters related to the regulatory framework of insurance and reinsurance, contractual issues, distribution schemes, etc. Matías has been involved in the merger of insurers and the registration of reinsurers and brokers, both domestic and foreign.

He also advises and actively participates in complex disputes related to insurance and reinsurance claims, contractual claims of all kinds, class actions, and the defense of insurers, reinsurers, and insurance distributors before Argentine authorities, both at the administrative and judicial levels.

Matías graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad del Salvador in 2012. In 2016, he completed a postgraduate program in Insurance Law at the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales and is currently taking a Master’s in Law and Economics at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.

He has published several articles on insurance and reinsurance matters in Argentina.

He is a member of the Public Bar Association of the Federal Capital.
