Martín Iván Lanús

Martín I. Lanus joined Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in 2010 and is a senior associate, member of the Banking & Finance department.

Martín stands out as a specialist in trust structuring, bonds issuances, banking transactions, and capital markets regulatory matters. He also advises companies on a wide variety of commercial and financial transactions and regulatory matters, both locally and internationally, including numerous bilateral and syndicated loans, project finance, complex financings, debt restructuring processes, guarantees, and a wide variety of commercial contracts.

In 2017, he participated in the Stoneway/Araucaria project finance which has been defined as a landmark transaction.

Before joining the firm, he worked at Di Mascio y Asociados (a Tax Law Firm) as a paralegal.

Martín graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a law degree in 2013 and in 2020 he completed a Master’s in Corporate Law at the Universidad de San Andrés.

During 2021 and 2022, he was a foreign associate at Paul Hastings LLP in New York.

He is currently a member of the Public Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires (CPACF), the Argentine Banking Lawyers Committee, and the Chamber of Trusts and Productive Activities (CAFIDAP).
