Marina Romanato joined Marval O´Farrell & Mairal in 2020 and is currently a member of the Intellectual Property Department in Patents team. Her professional practice focuses on advising national and foreign companies in the patenting of inventions, both in Argentina and other Latin American countries.

Marina has a PhD in Biology (2008) from the University of Buenos Aires and specialized in the field of Human Reproduction.

She worked at the National Council of Science (CONICET) as an Assistant Researcher and she has directed four MS thesis and two PhD thesis. As a result of her academic knowledge and experience, she published 10 Scientific Papers in Journals such as Human Reproduction, Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Toxicol Research, Theriogenology, Systems Biology in Reproduction and Current cancer drug targets.

She is also co-author of one chapter in Encyclopedia of Reproduction. 2nd Edition. Ed. Academic Press. Elsevier: Decondensation of Sperm Chromatin (2018). She has attended and lectured at 46 international congress and she has been honored with the award granted to the work presented at the 2004 Joint Congress, 11th Argentine Congress of Reproductive Medicine. She worked as a professor at the University of Buenos Aires, Favaloro University and CAECE University in the subjects: biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, immunology and zoology. Also she organized postgraduate courses.
