María Soledad González

María Soledad González joined Marval O’Farrell & Mairal in 2003 and is currently a member of the tax department.

She has over 20 years of experience in tax, criminal, and social security advisory and litigation. Her expertise includes advising national and international companies on tax issues related to international and domestic transactions, and tax-free reorganizations. She also participates in commercial and international transactions of mergers and acquisitions, advises on procedural strategies and prepares lawsuits and appeals before the National Tax Court, the National Administrative Litigation Court, and the Supreme Court of Justice. She has broad experience in advising and analyzing defense strategies in tax contingencies with provincial and municipal tax authorities.

She obtained her law degree at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law (2002), with a specialization in Business Law. She later completed an International Program in Tax Law at the Torcuato Di Tella University. She also completed the Update and Advanced Program in Criminal Tax Law at the University of Buenos Aires, receiving a special mention for her final research paper titled: “Comprehensive damage repair applied to tax crimes under the Criminal Tax Regime”.

As an expert in Tax, she has written articles and publications of her expertise.

María Soledad is a member of the Argentine Fiscal Association (AAEF), where she actively participates on different research commissions.
