Luciana Martina Virgile

Luciana Martina Virgile joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2013 and is currently a partner of the Tax department.

Luciana specialises in tax advice mostly for corporate clients from the automobile, telecommunications, banking, software, digital services, energy, mining, pharma, and food sectors. She has broad experience in both domestic and cross-border restructurings, M&A and other corporate transactions, and provides advice on domestic and international taxation, digital economy taxation, and transfer pricing. matters. Moreover, she has been in charge of complex and sensitive tax litigation.

Before joining the firm, she worked at Litvak y Asociados, a tax-specialized boutique firm.

She graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a law degree in 2011 and has concluded the tax specialized master at the same university.

She is a frequent speaker at tax-related seminars held in Argentina and abroad and has published many articles in the tax field. She is a member of the Argentine Fiscal Association and the International Fiscal Association.

Luciana has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Legal 500 and International Tax Review (ITR) and was nominated as “Rising Star” by Woman in Business Law. In 2023, Luciana was designated as National Tax Reported for Argentina for the International Bar Association (IBA).
