Josefina Barbero

Josefina Barbero joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2016 and is currently a member of the Intellectual Property, Information Technology and Privacy Department. 

Josefina has graduated with honors as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires with a specialization in Civil Law in 2020.

Josefina specializes in intellectual property, information technology, data protection & privacy matters. Her relevant working experience includes advising clients in matters mainly related to IP agreements, IT agreements, anti-counterfeiting and trademark protection, data security breach incidents, preparing privacy policies, among other privacy and data protection matters.

Josefina is currently enrolled in the Specialization Course in Information Technology Law at the University of Buenos Aires, oriented to deepen her knowledge in the areas of Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Personal Data Protection.

She is a member of the Latin America Privacy Association (ALAP) as well as of ALAP’s Women Network.
