Fernando Manuel Alemany
Litigation & Arbitration
Fernando M. Alemany joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2008 and is currently a Partner in the Litigation & Arbitration Department.
He has vast experience in complex litigation and arbitration, both domestic and international, reorganization proceedings and debt restructuring, negotiation of commercial and transactional agreements. He has acted in a wide range of sectors, including contractual and commercial disputes, oil and gas, infrastructure, pharmaceutical and technology.
He graduated with honors as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires in 2007 and was an exchange student at New York University. His academic background includes an LLM in Business Law at Universidad de San Andrés, which he completed in 2019 with a thesis on the economic analysis of litigation transactions in Argentina. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Law from the University of Buenos Aires, where he explored the use of new technologies to improve the efficiency of dispute resolution procedures.
Fernando currently coaches the University of Buenos Aires teams for the International Arbitration Competition and the International Investment Arbitration Competition and collaborates in the Private International Law course taught at that university.
