Cristian Daniel Bittel joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2004 and became a partner in 2016. He is currently a member of the Intellectual Property department, specializing in Patents.
Before joining the firm, he was a scholar of the CONICET for the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Rosario.
He graduated in Biotechnology from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in 1996 and later completed two Master’s. The first in Biological Sciences at the same university and the second in Industrial Property at the INPI.
Cristian has worked as a teaching assistant at the biology department and has written many articles in his practice area.
He is one of the authors of the book Patent Law, published in 2023 by Abeledo Perrot. He also wrote one of the chapters of the book Intellectual Property in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology, published by Universidad Austral Ediciones.
He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
